Creative brief

Glasshaus Magazine is a creative endeavor I conceptualized, overseeing its development from concept to execution. This magazine is designed with the intention to explore the relationship between design, culture, and identity from a woman’s perspective. Glasshaus started as an idea to both keep in touch with my friends from college, as well as keep us thinking creatively and to expand our portfolio.

Project takeaways

Creating my own magazine took me out of my comfort zone completely! Leading 12 designers remotely comes with its challenges, but it allowed me to be a better leader and to meet so many new people along the way.

My goal when starting this project was to simply keep in touch with my friends, to continue creating, and to allow a platform for women in design. Not only did we achieve this, but we created so much more. I learned how to work collaboratively on a project with my closest friends and watched every step of the way as the magazine paved its
own following.
